Sandra Owusu-Ansah of Kusa Ladies FC’s spectacular strike nominated for FIFA Pukas Award

Black Queens and Kumasi Sports Academy Ladies FC attacker Sandra Owusu-Ansah has been shortlisted for the FIFA Pukas Award 2021. Owusu-Ansah was nominated for the prestigious award for her sensational 30-yard volley against Kumasi Sports Academy in the National Women’s League in May this year.
She will vie for the top award with the likes of Luis Diaz, Erik Lamela and Riyad Mahrez.
She becomes the only Ghanaian in running for a FIFA award in the 2021 calendar year.
